WebJul 16, 2012 · I have read a few posts where a few members have been adjusting the valves in their 6.7 (with deletes) to the tighter exhaust valve setting of the 5.9. The theory is that the exhaust valve will not "grow" as much without the extra heat from the regen process. WebOct 27, 2013 · 3,499 Posts #2 · Oct 26, 2013 Gear is behind the crankcase vent. Remove hose and unscrew the vent. Use a mirror to see TDC. The vps gear will have a mark on it. You want that at 12 o'clock . Remove valve cover and ALL FOUR rockers on #1 should be loose when TDC is achieved.
